Santissima Pizza in Metropolitan City of Naples

"One of the best pizza we had so far, the dough was well cooked and it wasn’t heavy. The interior is unique, you’re inside an old church and the details are amazing. Prices are affordable and definitely quieter than many other places around the area. Worth coming here!!"

"I cannot rate this place highly enough. The restaurant is located in an old chapel building which makes for a unique atmosphere. You can get a classic pizza (eg Margherita, 4 seasons etc) but they also have an extensive selection of the chefs' own delicious creations, which is the real attraction. The service was great, and the staff spoke good English. Although it's in a very touristy area, it is clearly a genuine restaurant run and staffed by a team who really care about what they do. We paid about 14-15 Euros for our amazing pizzas (in September 2025). The night before we'd paid the same for two very average pizzas from a tourist trap type place and the difference between the two nights' meals was incredible. Basically if you're in Naples, come here for pizza!"

"Amazing atmosphere, very kind and helpful waitress and the most delicious pizza with a fluffy crust! Would go back to try some of their unique pizzas, cause we didn't manage to try all of them! The one with artichoke is especially good!"

"Extraordinary out of the limits! In Naples you can find many pizzerias, but I promise that this one cross over the limita of a normal one. Service and welcoming really nice and the pizzas was stratospheric. I advise the pizza called Piazza Garibaldi. Will be back every single time I will be in Naples !"

"A bit of a discussion with myself about the rating. The service was absolutely five. The two ladies that took care of us were literally gorgeous! The starters were fab, crispy and hot. The pizza was good, but just not as expected from other photos. I think mine was undercooked, though it was explained that this was due to the ricotta. Regardless, we had a great time. Very quiet for an early Friday night dinner-6:30. We only shared the place with a tour coming to see the church history."

"We did a Pizza course here which was great! Booked the Secret Pizza Course and one of the ownwrs showed how to make authentic Napolitan Pizza, which we could bake and eat right there! It has a seating area above the kitchen which is especially nice to sit at, looks like an old chapel :)"

"The pizza is incredible, one of the best we tasted in Napoli. They have different and delicious pizza flavors. The atmosphere is relaxed, which is great after a few hours on the streets of Napoli. I highly recommend visiting Santissima Pizza."
